Like a chromophotograph, the year 2005 is a really colorful one for me ,making me more experienced and prepared to walk down the road of my destiny, though at the same time the suffering is inevitable. 

 

First of all, I finished two projects of lab, both of which is related to the abbreviation expansion job in the language of Chinese.  Through those practice, I am becoming familiar with the machine learning approaches, both in the theoretical understanding and implementation aspect.  My mentor HF Wang, my "study elder brother^^" WG Shi and YunXing helped me a lot in those jobs.

 

Moreover, I becoming more erudite in the natural language processing field such as machine translation, through the 4 month experiences in the Microsoft research asia.  I would sincerely thank Prof Ming Zhou in NLP group to give me the chance to work and study in MSRA.  Furthermore, I recognized so many friends there, such as FanJiang, Galen, LongJiang, KeWu,YiChen.....

 

Another important thing in 2005 is the preparation of Toefl and Gre.  As a matter of fact, I think I do not have enough time to arrange on T&G, therefore it is a real tough job.  The Toefl is finished somehow, though I guess it is not as good as I wished.  On the other hand, as the much more difficult task, Gre is still waiting for me.  It is troublesome because I know there would still be no enough time, however, I think it is needed to be optimistic.  My classmate PengLiu offered me the precious experiences, and XiaZhou, YanPeng offered the assistances....thanks a lot:)
